Breadth Requirements for the revised Bachelor of Engineering
- Depending upon the stream of Engineering students will complete a breadth component of between 37.5 points (three subjects) and 50 points (four subjects).
- There is no requirement within the BE degree that students complete their breadth subjects at any particular year level, or in any particular semesters of study.
- It is possible for one 37.5 point (three subject) sequence of breadth subjects to be taken. Students may also take all of their breadth studies in one breadth discipline (e.g.: languages or music).
Breadth Subjects Available for BE Students:
Any subject allowed as breadth according to the requirements established for the BSc will also be permitted as breadth in the revised BE degree.
