Additional details
- Five short design tasks (each task equivalent to 6 hours of work) due weekly from weeks 2–6, each worth (6%);
- Submission and presentation of a design project, building on skills and themes developed throughout the semester and demonstrating design output that may include physical or digital models, drawings, written assignments, site analyses, journals and sketches (requiring approximately 60 hours of work) due first week of examination period, (50%);
- Visual diary (equivalent to 10 hours of work) due first week of examination period, (10%);
- Contribution to a positive studio culture as demonstrated by class preparation, contribution to group work and class discussion, oral presentations, constructive critique of other students’ work and accepting critique in a constructive manner when completing the final project, due throughout the semester, (10%);
Hurdle requirement: Attendance at 75% or more of studio classes.
