• Preparation of School Assessed Coursework (SAC) (1650 words
• Physics prac or demonstration (equivalent to 1650 words) due end of semester (33%) incorporating:

1. Prepare and present/run a 30 minute prac or demonstration (equivalent to 1100 words) (If a prac was presented in Semester 1/EDUC90469, then must do a demonstration in Semester2/ EDUC90470 and vice-versa)
2. A 550 word written reflection on prac/demonstration, plus a risk assessment and a hand-out

Combined Science component:

• Inquiry-centred Task (1700 words) (for Teacher Candidates enrolled in one science Learning Area subject) (1700 words) due mid semester(34%)

OR

• Inquiry-centred Task (1700 words) AND a Task Exploring Assessment Strategies (1700 words) (for Teacher Candidates enrolled in two science Learning Area subjects. TCs complete one task for each subject) due mid semester and end of semester (34%)

Hurdle requirements:

• All assessments tasks must be satisfactorily completed to a minimum 50% mark on each task.
• Minimum of 80% attendance at all scheduled lectures, tutorials, seminars and workshops.
