The student will provide evidence of having met this goal by presenting a minor dissertation made up of a preface (describing the context in which their project was conducted and a reflection on what they have learned, how it has drawn upon, integrated and built upon subjects offered previously in the course and increased their confidence and competency in professional practice) and two project reports.
Intended learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is that the student gains practical experience, usually in a workplace setting, in the application of knowledge and skills learnt during the coursework of the Master of Biostatistics program, under supervision of an experienced biostatistician.
