Overview

The Environmental Geography Honours specialisation addresses the relationship between human activities and the natural and built environment, and humanity’s reliance on the Earth’s natural resources.

Intended learning outcomes

• To provide students with the methods needed to carry out an effective research program
• To ensure students understand what is required to review critically a scholarly body of literature in geography or environmental studies
• To ensure students gain the skills needed to communicate their research intentions and results
• To ensure students gain some grounding in the history, philosophy or scope of the discipline of geography
