Intended learning outcomes
- Demonstrate special skills in the provision of clinical services applicable to Orthodontics
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the principles, current developments and research methods applicable to Orthodontics
- Conduct an original scientific investigation into a biological, clinical or community health problems of Orthodontics and communicate the results of scientific enquiry
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the area of Orthodontics
- Facilitate the advanced development of clinical, academic and research skills necessary to further a career in academia, research or Orthodontics dentistry practice
- Advanced understanding of the changing knowledge base of Orthodontics
- Advanced understanding of the international context and sensitivities of Orthodontics
- Ability to offer leadership in Orthodontics
- Understanding of the significance and value of knowledge to the wider community (including business and industry) within Orthodontics
