This subject investigates how historic styles of Interior Architecture, Dress, Ornament, Light and Sound can be interpreted in design for live performance and film. Students will look at films and live performances that have taken varied approaches to how they have evoked a given period style to develop a deeper understand not only of historic detail, but also how this can be interpreted to theatrical and cinematic effect.
