This subject is the final extension of the Theatre maker in generative and interpretative projects. Students adapt and reframe the skills they have acquired, integrating them into projects to be presented in a capstone project as part of a VCA Theatre Festival. Theatre makers refine their capacity to excel in production processes via the sophisticated development, rehearsal, performance and evaluation of executed material(s) presented to industry in a festival format. Students finalise their own performance making methodologies via articulated making exercises and interpretive rehearsal processes.
Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- Propose, develop and deliver a new performance work
- Invent effective capacities to assert self, working both autonomously and collaboratively within a peer group.
- Evaluate your decision-making process, making methodologies and creative choices
