Technical trading analysis including pattern analysis and trends, stochastics, momentum market profiles, price-time analysis, elementary statistical evaluation of these methods.
Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject students should be able to:
- Explain techniques used in technical analysis;
- Compare and contrast technical analysis techniques with those of fundamental analysis;
- Apply graphical and numerical technical analysis techniques to real data;
- Assess the applicability of various technical analysis techniques in different market conditions.
