Principal coordinator Lauren Bennett Mode of delivery On Campus (Parkville) Contact hours 60 hours (36 hours practical, 24 hours lectures), delivered in a two-week intensive teaching block, comprised of a 4-day field-based component in the first week (equivalent of 16 hours practical, 12 hours lectures), and a 2-day excursion plus 3 days of lectures in the second (equivalent of 20 hours practical, 12 hours lectures) Total time commitment 170 hours Pre teaching start date 16 September 2019 Pre teaching requirements During the pre-teaching period, students will be required to research and prepare an advanced draft of the first Assessment task, and read a journal article in preparation for a workshop. Students will be asked to contribute to accommodation (4 to 5 nights), travel, and food expenses while in the field.
