Semester 1 and Semester 2 offerings:
- 1,500 word career case-study based on an interview with an employee in your placement organisation 30% (due mid-semester);
- Team-focussed activity: 20 minute group presentation on a work-related or discipline specific topic 20% (to be presented in weeks 10, 11 & 12 classes); and
- 2,000 word reflective essay based on classroom and placement learnings 50%( due at the start of the examination period);
Summer Term offering:
- 1,500 word career case-study based on an interview with an employee in your placement organisation 30% (due three weeks after commencing placement);
- Team-focussed activity: 20 minute group presentation on a work-related or discipline specific topic 20% (to be presented in the final class post placement); and
- 2,000 word reflective essay based on classroom and placement learnings 50% (due two weeks after the final class post placement).
Hurdle requirement: 80 hours of satisfactory work placement, and 100% attendance at seminars.
