Overview
Intended learning outcomes
Upon completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- select analytics options to support inferences about psychological processes and human performance based on an advanced understanding of the complexities of integrating data from surveys, social media, wearable devices and the Internet of things.
- identify potential ethical issues in the application of an analytics solution to psychological data and suggest methods for mitigating issues that comply with the relevant professional code of conduct
- synthesize and evaluate the complex factors involved in applying analysis methods, including Bayesian, machine learning and dynamic systems techniques, to address substantial evidence-based practice issues about psychological processes related to human performance
- assess and advise team members on effective ways to improve the quality of data on psychological processes related to human performance and ensure compliance with current/future privacy data requirements
- judiciously apply research principles and methods and analytics knowledge, as well as autonomy, expert judgement and flexibility, to address issues about psychological processes related to human performance and effectively disseminate research outcomes to a variety of audiences.
