Intended learning outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students should:
- • Have a global perspective and an awareness of how contextual differences impact business actions and performance. Achieving this outcome means that students should be able to: ‐ Develop recommendations for effective practices in different business environments. ‐ Analyse global issues that impact on business and management. ‐ Work effectively in diverse teams.
- • Be adept at analysing and evaluating evidence for management decision‐making. Achieving this outcome means that students will be able to: ‐ Appropriately apply and synthesise key frameworks to solve business problems ‐ Translate management decision problems and decisions into quantitative form and conduct and interpret data analysis ‐ Make decisions using evidence‐based approaches
- • Be able to analyse and respond to the internal and external environment that might affect business performance. To achieve this outcome, students should be able to: ‐ Appraise the broader business context that might affect an organisation's performance ‐ Diagnose the internal environment of an organisation ‐ Respond to the internal and external environment influences in order to grow business performance
- • Be able to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines. Achieving this outcome means that students should be able to: ‐ Integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines to solve a problem ‐ Collaborate with business partners to apply knowledge in projects
