Entry requirements
1. In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed:
- an undergraduate degree; and
- two years of documented work experience; and
- a personal statement outlining why they wish to be considered for the course; and
- the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) if the undergraduate degree was not completed at an Australian or New Zealand University in Australia or New Zealand
Applicants are also required to nominate referees. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee selection.
2. In ranking applications, the Selection Committee will consider:
- prior academic performance; and
- the work experience; and
- the personal statement; and
- the referee reports; and
- an interview for short‐listed applicants; and
- if applicable, the GMAT or GRE score
3. The Selection Committee may seek further information to clarify any aspect of an application in accordance with the Academic Board Rules on the use of selection instruments.
4. Applicants are required to satisfy the university’s English language requirements for graduate courses.
For those applicants seeking to meet these requirements by one of the standard tests approved by the Academic Board, performance band 7.0 is required.
Entry requirements are:
- An undergraduate degree of 3 or 4 years minimum from a recognised tertiary institution; and
- At least two years of documented working experience; and
- A personal statement outlining why they wish to be considered for the course; and
- International students must demonstrate proficiency in English either through:
- IELTS score minimum requirement of 7.0 overall with no individual score less than 6.5; or
- TOEFL IBT score or TOEFL IBT score minimum of 102, and a written score minimum of 24 and no band less than 21; or
- PTE overall score minimum of 65, with writing skills of minimum 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; and
- Candidates who have not completed an undergraduate degree at an Australian or New Zealand University in Australia or New Zealand must demonstrate proficiency in analytical, quantitative, verbal and writing skills etc. either through:
- GMAT – minimum required 560; or
- GRE – minimum 310 with a minimum score of 157 on the Quantitative Section and a minimum of 152 on the verbal section
Applicants are also required to nominate referees. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee selection.
