Course structure

218.75 credit points:

• Core subjects (143.75 credit points)
• Elective subjects (75 credit points)

Progression rule

Students need to complete Business Foundations as the first subject. They need to achieve 70% or higher in this subject to progress further. If they score 50% or more but less than 70%, they will exit with a Professional Certificate in Business Administration.

Furthermore, students are required to achieve an average of 70% or more without failing any subject for the first 6 graded core subjects after Business Foundations to progress. Otherwise, they will exit with a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (50 credit points) or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (112.5 credit points) depending on the numbers of subjects they successfully complete.

Elective subjects

75 credit points: 6 elective subjects x 12.5 credit points each subject.

(*Global Business Economics, which was a core subject in the current course structure, will be removed as a core subject in the proposed course structure. Instead it will be added to the elective component as an elective subject in the proposed course structure)

(*The current Capstone subject BUSA90490 Integrative Business Capstone will still be offered to the current MBA students in the transitioning period. After the transitioning period, this subject will be offered as an elective subject and the subject title will be changed)
