Intended learning outcomes
- Synthesise current research literature with a view to identifying a research question that is relevant to the area chosen for the research project and that makes a significant contribution to the research literature;
- Critically evaluate the extant research literature in the field chosen for the research project from both a theoretical and empirical point of view;
- Independently research the project topic, using a wide range of source material;
- Complete a research topic which is well written including in terms of its structure and argument.

Additional delivery details
- This subject is available as the second part of a two-subject sequence: the subject continues over two consecutive study periods, with students first enrolling in ACCT40008 and then subsequently enrolling in ACCT40009 for a total enrolment of 37.5 points. Students will receive an overall result for the subject following completion of the two-subject sequence.
