Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will:
- Develop and complete a significant research project which is written up and presented as a 15,000 word dissertation
- Develop skills in scholarly investigation and critical analysis appropriate to screen and cultural studies
- Enhance research capacity and to improve writing skills under supervision

This is part of a 50 point thesis subject, continuing over two consecutive study periods.
Students are required to enrol in:
- SCRN40017 Screen & Cultural Studies Thesis Part 1 (25 points) and
- SCRN40018 Screen & Cultural Studies Thesis Part 2 (25 points), consecutively.
Students will receive a ‘CNT’ grade in the part 1 and results will be entered if and when both part 1 and 2 are completed.
