Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Identify the competitive, social and environmental context of business activities and evaluate their impacts on business outcomes and performance
- Compile and analyse evidence to facilitate evidence-based management decisions
- Demonstrate an understanding of and apply the fundamental analytical frameworks and concepts from the fields of accounting, economics, finance, statistics, marketing, operations and the social and behavioural sciences to solve business problems and inform management decisions
- Work effectively in diverse teams, manage diverse groups, and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Have developed learning skills and strong relationships with peers, thereby creating a foundation for career development and lifelong learning.
