Hurdle requirement: Lab attendance, behaviour and performance assessed by supervisor near end of each semester of enrolment.	Throughout the teaching period	N/A
Literature Review 6000 words	Due around the mid-way point of the project	15%
Oral presentation 15-20 minutes Hurdle requirement: Must be completed to a satisfactory standard.	Due around the mid-way point of the project	N/A
Oral presentation 15-20 minutes	Due towards the end of the final semester of the project	15%
A research report (thesis) of up to 20,000 words 20,000 words	Due towards the end of the final semester of the project	70%

The assessment requirements above are applicable to the entire Research Project (125 points).
