On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:

Exercise foundational research skills in the analysis of critical issues in Islamic Studies
Apply in-depth knowledge of traditions, ideologies and contemporary issues in the Islamic world in relevant professional and academic contexts
Apply in-depth knowledge of traditions, ideologies and contemporary issues in the Islamic world in relevant professional and academic contexts
Engage with and critically analyse complex changing social contexts related to Islam.
