Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:
- Discuss a wide range of current issues in Japanese
- Appreciate language styles and major points of selected readings in Japanese
- Demonstrate an understanding of Japan and contemporary Japanese society
- Write a thesis of 15,000 words, comparable with that appropriate to an Honours degree.
