In addition to the learning outcomes of the Master of Civil Engineering listed, students should:
Conduct risk assessment and modelling, and apply knowledge in cost management, data analysis, statistics and reliability, project management, general management theory, complex systems, engineering contracts, legal, operations management, industrial marketing and client relationships, sustainability and general concepts of project to obtain operational efficiency and effectiveness;
Develop business plans and management plans at tactical and strategic levels;
Evaluate business opportunities and risks normally encountered in engineering projects and operations; and make recommendations to improve the successful outcomes for the projects;
Develop research principles and methods in the field of engineering project management.
