Two small programming assignments, requiring approximately 3-5 hours each; Due Weeks 4 and 8-9 (5% each). Addressing Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs') 1 and 2. 

  • 10-16 hours (of work required)

Two programming projects, requiring approximately 12-20 hours each; Due Weeks 6 and 11-12 (15% each). Addressing Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs') 1-4.

  • 20-30 hours (of work required)

One written, closed-book examination. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO) 1.

Additional details

Hurdle Requirement: to pass the subject, students must obtain at least:

  • 50% overall
  • 20/40 in programming assignments
  • 30/60 in the end-of semester written examination
