Extramural placements, to be completed during non-teaching periods over the first and second years of the course 60 days (placement) Hurdle requirement: Students must complete the 11 weeks of approved extramural placements including a minimum 4 weeks in Category A (extensive production industries), minimum 2 weeks in Category B (intensive production industries)and 1 to 4 weeks in Category C (educational farms, welfare/small animal shelters and zoos) by the end of this subject.
