Overview
The Master of Management (Marketing) provides foundational training in a variety of business and management disciplines and specialist training in marketing. It enables graduates to develop, implement and control integrated marketing programs, work closely with managers in other functional areas, and pursue a career in marketing management. The course focuses on the means by which organisations attract and retain business customers and/or consumers, including but not limited by value creation through understanding customer needs, relationships, value appropriation through strategy and pricing, and measuring value through market research and marketing metrics.

Structure
150 credit points
Students entering the Master of Management (Marketing) program with 50 points of advanced standing must complete 12 subjects comprising two core subjects, four discipline core subjects, two capstone subjects and four elective subjects.
Students who wish to take more capstone selective subjects can do so through selecting them in the electives list and completing them as elective subjects.
To obtain the degree students must complete:
- 25 credit points of Year 1 (the first semester of the program) core subjects
- 50 credit points of Discipline core subjects
- 12.5 credit points of Capstone core subject (the final semester of the program)
- 62.5 credit points of Capstone selective and Elective subjects including
- A minimum of 12.5 credit points of Capstone selective subject(s)

Research option
Students who wish to take the research option must have completed at least 100 points and have achieved a WAM of 80 across all subjects completed.
Places in the research subjects are limited and students will be required to obtain Program Director approval prior to undertaking the research option. Students may be required to submit a research proposal prior to enrolling and/or a selected supervisor of the special topics subject.
