This subject is designed for students to synthesise, integrate and apply the knowledge and skills developed throughout the MBA program. Through a multi-period simulation, students assume executive responsibility for managing a for-profit organisation in a dynamic, competitive environment. The subject emphasises strategic decision-making, cross-functional integration, and the use of data to guide performance.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- Synthesise and integrate cross-functional business knowledge to make strategic and operational decisions in a dynamic, competitive environment.
- Interpret and analyse quantitative and qualitative information to support evidence-based strategic and operational decision-making in uncertain and evolving market contexts.
- Critically evaluate business performance using financial and non-financial metrics to assess operational and strategic effectiveness.
