Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this specialisation, students should be able to:

• Understand, apply, analyse and critically evaluate theories and concepts including from First Nations' cultures in the study of educational leadership
• Understand the role of the leader in bringing about student equity, educational change and transformation for all students
• Understand and critically explore the leadership contexts in which they find themselves now and into the future, and how this relates to global education perspectives and issues including sustainability challenges
• Using an evidence-based approach, develop and be critically reflective of their own understanding of educational leadership
• Understand, develop and apply effective educational leadership skills.
