The construction industry is set for transformation and can improve its productivity by embracing the latest technological opportunities, the new digital age and innovative processes. The Graduate Certificate in Built Environment Leadership is aimed at graduates with built environment industry experience who are seeking to improve their professional skills in management and leadership in building and construction companies. It will build on leadership and corporate management concepts, and develop critical thinking and problem solving needed to manage people and projects in organisational settings.
The course consists of four 12.5 point subjects which will be undertaken part-time in conjunction with professional work. Two subjects focus on leadership and management, and two subjects focus on building and digital technology.
A blended learning approach to teaching will be the mode of delivery, with content being delivered both on line and face-to-face.
