Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of educational, psychological, and neuroscientific literature relevant to learning
- Examine essential concepts in neuroscience and how they relate to cognitive functioning
- Critically evaluate educational theories, debates, policies, practices, and products using scientific evidence
- Apply educational, psychological, and neuroscientific research and the scientific method to professional practice to design, deliver, and evaluate learning interventions that are culturally appropriate, inclusive and sustainable.

This course will assist students to develop the following transferable skills:
- Self-awareness
- Critical thinking and reasoning
- Communication skills
- Evidence-based decision making.

Graduates should have the necessary attributes to:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the latest research concerning the neuroscientific, psychological, and educational underpinnings of learning (academic distinction)
