LEARNING AND TEACHING METHODS
The subject involves 3 1-hour webinar in Week 1,4 and 7. All study materials are listed in CANVAS site aided by consultation sessions in between non-webinar weeks. Students will work individually and in collaborative manner via participation in discussion forum. Assessments are hands-on based on real-world scenario and scaffold between each other that build student’s capability in social analytics upon completing the unit.

The subject uses online reading materials, real-world scenarios and online discussion forum. It offers access to slides, videos, websites and relevant papers.

Social networks and social platforms are a widely used technology for connecting individuals and connecting organisations. They can provide key insights into human and organisational behaviours and needs. Hence, the acquired social analytics skill is in demand in the industry. - Available through the Community Access Program

This subject is available through the Community Access Program (also called Single Subject Studies) which allows you to enrol in single subjects offered by the University of Melbourne, without the commitment required to complete a whole degree.
