This subject enables the final extension of the actor in generative and interpretative stage and screen projects. Acquired techniques are applied to the development and performance of original solo material.
Students refine their capacity to excel in stage and screen production processes via the sophisticated development, rehearsal, performance and evaluation of executed material.
Through training tasks and exercises, students develop their ability to apply advanced acting, vocal and physical skills as an integrated performer. Students finalise their own training methodology established over three years of intense training exercises and interpretive rehearsal processes.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject, students should be able to:
- determine appropriate acting methodologies for characterisation and performance in different professional environments;
- synthesise physical and vocal techniques into a coherent professional practice;
- generate new performance material incorporating imaginative and flexible vocal and physical technique;
- demonstrate a strong professional ethos in class exercises, independent and collaborative work.
