- Subject notesTHIS SUBJECT IS OFFERED EVERY ODD YEARLEARNING AND TEACHING METHODSThe subject is based principally on presentations by an academic lecturer and an experienced industry professional who present theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. In addition each student prepares a written report based on practical assignments. A computer laboratory will be used by students to prepare resulting computations and survey documents of the practical assignments.INDICATIVE KEY LEARNING RESOURCESScript and reading materials will be provided by lecturers.CAREERS / INDUSTRY LINKSThis subject is mandatory for those who would like to take 'Land Specilisation' to become a licesned surveyor. This specialisation is a condition for Surveyor Registration Board of Victoria accreditation. The subject is primarily delivered by an experienced industry professional that has an extensive knowledge in cadastral surveying. Working as a cadastral surveyor, you acquire knowledge of the laws and procedures relating to land ownership and development.
