Hurdle requirement: 2. Late Penalty and Assessment hurdle requirement: Assessment submitted late without an approved extension will be penalised at five per cent (5%) of the possible marks available for the assessment task per day or part thereof. (Some assessment tasks may be treated differently and these will be highlighted by the Subject Coordinator in the LMS). All pieces of assessment must be submitted to pass the subject. Additional details
The Winter availabilty of this subject is an intensively delivered beginner-level Japanese subject which involves 4 hours of contact hours and 1-2 hours homework daily. Students will be expected to memorise 94 phonetic syllabaries and 60 ideographic characters in 3 weeks.
