Working under the supervision of a staff member, a student will produce two substantive publishing projects, equivalent to 5,000 words of written assessment. The project will be part of a larger team publishing project which is led by staff and based in the program’s teaching press.
Intended learning outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students should have:
- Acquired additional practical experience and theoretical understanding of traditional and e-book publishing
- Develop experience working in publishing project teams
- Carry out book production within realistic industry timeframes and deadlines.
Generic skills
Students who complete this subject should acquire:
- Additional research and written communication skills through professional writing and supervised discussion.
