In this subject, students will undertake a research project in vision sciences over the year. They will gain experience in posing research questions, experimental designs, critical thinking, and assessing literature. The student will gain skills in presenting the results in a competently written research project and in a concise oral presentation. The research project will typically form part of a larger project or a concise one, potentially contributing to an original publication.
Intended learning outcomes
On completion of this subject student should be able to:
- Plan and conduct an individual research project using appropiate research methodologies
- Present the results of their research orally and in writing.
