- Design project (first interim submission and presentation), including component of research (requiring approximately 40 hours of work) due week 6, (20%);
- Design project (second interim submission and presentation), including component of research (requiring approximately 40 hours of work) due week 9, (20%);
- Design project (final submission and presentation), building on skills and themes developed throughout the semester, and demonstrating design output that may include physical or digital models, drawings, written assignments, site analyses, journals and sketches, first week of examination period (equivalent to approximately 100 hours of work), (50%);
- Design Journal, based on themes developed through the lectures (equivalent to 20 hours of work - about 1000 words) due first week of examination period, (10%).
Hurdle requirement: Attendance at 75% or more of studio classes.
