Additional details

  • Demonstration of clinical teaching practice against Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate level – 40 days (equivalent to 7000 words) throughout placement (70%)
  • Clinical Praxis Examination (20 min presentation, 10 min questions; equivalent to 3000 words) due end of placement (30%) This is a shared task with EDUC90881 Diverse and Inclusive Classrooms (Prim)

Hurdle requirements:

  • 100% attendance on all placement days
  • 100% attendance at all professional seminars (or an approved alternative learning activity)
  • Interim clinical teaching practice interview-based assessment due prior to block placement
