170 hours (over EDUC90934 and EDUC90935)

Students considering beginning their capstone should contact the Coordinator to discuss their initial project ideas.
This subject continues over two consecutive study periods, with students first enrolling in EDUC90934 Evaluation Capstone Part 1 and then subsequently enrolling in Evaluation Capstone Part 2, for a total enrolment of 12.5 credit points. Students will receive an overall result for the subject following completion of the two-subject sequence. Information provided on this page applies to Part 1 and Part 2 of the subject (EDUC90934 and EDUC90935).
Students are advised to enrol in EDUC90934 in their second last term of enrolment and EDUC90935 in their final term of the Master of Evaluation (MC-EVAL, MC-EVALO).
Note: Students may take the Capstone in a single term by instead enrolling in EDUC90747.
During the pre-teaching period students will be required to read:
i) the Essential Competencies for Program Evaluators Self-Assessment and
ii) AES Evaluators Professional Learning Competency Framework.
