- Assignment (2,500 words) (30%)

- Semester 1: Due on various dates according to topic allocated to student
- Semester 2: Class in which the assigned problem is due to be discussed
- Take-home examination (4,000 words) (70%)

A minimum of 75% attendance is a hurdle requirement.
