Students are required to complete 50 clinical ultrasound cases in the workplace, and submit a logbook of cases. In addition, 50 advanced clinical ultrasound cases will be provided for interpretation and reporting to provide a range of rare cases that are unlikely to be encountered in normal daily practice.
Intended learning outcomes
The completion of the subject, students should:
- Perform 50 clinical ultrasound cases in the workplace and report findings in a logbook
- Interpret a wide range of clinical ultrasound and echocardiography cases
- Practice reporting on rare and unusual cases
- Interpret and report 50 and case studies using recorded images.
