Students will conceive, plan and execute a substantial research project (undertaken across MUSI40086: Honours Thesis 1 and MUSI40087: Honours Thesis 2)

Intended learning outcomes

On completion of this subject students should have



  • Demonstrated the ability to conceive, plan and execute an independent research project
  • Demonstrated a capacity to think originally and independently
  • Shown a command of the standard literature related to their research
  • Demonstrated the ability to write in a scholarly manner

On completion of this subject students should have developed:
