One three hour examination (end of semester during examination period) (55% of total mark)
Assignment of 2000 words in total (during semester) (40% of total mark)
Participation in five hours of research activities (by the end of week 12) (5% of total mark)
Students must complete all components of the assessment and achieve an aggregate score of 50% in the subject to be eligible for a pass.
Attendance at 80% or more of laboratory classes are hurdle requirement
