Master of Commerce (Accounting) Course Progression Rules:
- students must obtain an overall average grade of 75% or higher in year one subjects to be able to progress to year two of the course.
Progression to the PhD
To successfully move from the Master of Commerce (Accounting) into the PhD students must:
- complete the Master of Commerce (Accounting) with an average grade of 75% or higher;
- achieve an average grade of 75% or higher in the compulsory Accounting subjects taken in years one and two of the course (Please note that if a student is approved to take a subject in lieu of a compulsory accounting subject, the grade in the other subject will be included in the calculation of the average);
- achieve a grade of 80% or higher in ACCT90003 Accounting Research Report.
