Additional details
The components Finance I, Managerial Judgment and Economics of Strategy are equally weighted as 30% each. Seminar III is weighted as 10%. In order to pass the subject, students are required to pass each component.
Finance I:
- 3 x problem sets (200 words each), due throughout the module (15%)
- 2 x syndicate case reports (equivalent to individual 800 word assessment), due mid-way through the module (15%)
- Final examination (hurdle requirement; 90 mins; 1500 words), taken at the end of the module (70%)
Managerial Judgment:
- Contribution to class learning (attendance at lectures, peer and instructor evaluation of contribution to class learning), throughout the module (20%)
- Final examination (hurdle requirement; 2.5 hours; 2500 words), taken at the end of the module (80%)
Economics of Strategy:
- Contribution to class learning (attendance at lectures, peer and instructor evaluation of contribution to class learning), throughout the module (20%)
- Final examination (hurdle requirement; 2.5 hours; 2500 words), taken at the end of the module (80%)
Seminar III:
- Class Participation (attendance at lectures, peer and instructor evaluation of contribution to class learning), throughout the module (10%)
- Individual Assessment (hurdle requirement; Module Reflection & Application) (1500 words), due two weeks after completion of the residential module (90%)
