• Attendance and participation in a single laboratory classes with a written assignment of approximately 1000 words (10%). Requiring a time commitment of 13-15 hours of work including preparation. Intended learning Outcomes (ILOs) 1 and 2 are addressed in this laboratory class, due from Weeks 6 to 11
• Two written assignments (20% total - 10% each) each of approximately 1000 words; each requiring 13-15 hours of work. An overall time commitment of 25-30 hours. ILOs 1 to 6 are addressed in the assignments. Due weeks 6 to 12
• One written 3-hour closed book end-of-semester examination (70%). ILOs 1 to 6 are addressed in the exam. The examination is a hurdle and must be passed to pass the subject.
