This subject prepares an introduction for students to the industry via a Showcase event held in both Melbourne and Sydney. Students will develop Screen and Stage based showreel materials for this industry focused event and evaluate representation offers as part of this process.

- Practical Assessment - Studio Process: includes development, rehearsal, performance and evaluation of material (includes 4 hours per week contact staff in studio and 4 hours warm up/preparation) (2000 word equivalent). Weeks 1-12. 50%. (ILOs 1, 2 and 3)
- Written Assessment – Reflective Journal (800 words). Week 12. 20%. (ILO 3)
- Practical Assessment - Group and/or Individual Performance (1200 word equivalent). Weeks 9-12. 30%. (ILO 2)
- Hurdle requirements:Students must attend 80% of all scheduled classes and attempt all elements of assessment to be eligible for a pass in this subject
