Additional details
- Interpretation of case studies assessed by structured questions pertaining to each case (5 MCQ per case) - Total time is 500 minutes (5,000 words equivalent), due prior to semester completion, (100%).
Note: Each case study has learning, feedback and assessment components. After review of materials the student completes a report form and then compares that to the tutor report. This is reinforced by a summary of key findings and learning points, which is available after completion of their initial report. The structured MCQ relates to the case and forms the assessment component. After submission of the ACQ for scoring, they are provided further feedback on their answers and an explanation provided.
Hurdle Requirement: Submission of logbook of 50 clinical ultrasound cases performed in the students’ workplace. Due prior to semester completion.
