This is the subject where the students should get the opportunity of practical experience and observation within the costume or workshop production workshops assisting with the creation of sets, props and or costumes utilising Design Realisation skills learnt in Performing Arts Practice 2A. (The students should be assigned to alternative area of study from that of 2A)
Intended learning outcomes
At the conclusion of this subject the students should have a basic understanding of how the costume and or workshop production departments are utilised to assist with studio based performance projects. The students should have further developed their realisation skills through practical project assignments.
Generic skills
On completing this subject students should have:
- time management and planning skills through managing and organising workloads for recommended reading, essay and assignment completion;
- demonstrated capacities for artistic imagination, creativity, transformation and interpretation;
- demonstrated practical skills in respect of critical analysis, problem solving, report writing, team work and oral and written communication;
- contributed to a range of visual/performing arts environments as artistic collaborators and leaders.
