This subject will explore the practical skills involved in designing and implementing performance workshops in a Community Cultural Development (CCD) context. The unit will be conducted through workshops combined with lectures, readings, group discussions, and visiting talks from leading practitioners. These practical skills will include methods for Interdisciplinary collaborative practice, facilitation skills, leadership styles, storytelling and role-play skills within CCD contexts. Students will produce a detailed journal, reflexive essay and lead a 20-minute creative arts workshop.
