The Master of Applied Psychology (MAP) is a 150-point non-accredited course taught by a combination of academics and industry professionals. This course is designed for students who wish to pursue or advance careers in fields such as marketing, public policy, consumer/social research, communications/advertising, business consulting, and many others. Entry to the MAP will be direct from the 3-year psychology undergraduate degree or the Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Subjects will cover social psychology, influence and persuasion, psychology of advertising and communications, judgement and decision-making, attitude and behaviour change, consumer psychology, research methods and applied statistics. Subjects will be taught over a mixture of standard semesters and a winter intensive.
